As we wrap up another incredible year, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who’s been part of the Face Mining Services journey in 2024. It’s been a team effort all the way, and I’m grateful to every person who has been a part of our journey, from our team, clients, community, and beyond. From all of us at Face Mining Services, we truly appreciate the support.

This year brought some significant milestones and achievements for Face Mining Services. It has been a journey filled with growth, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to excellence in the mining industry.

Acknowledgment of HMR Partnership:

Earlier this year, Face Mining Services sold our Australian contracts as part of HMR expanding their market capabilities. This partnership enabled both companies to strengthen their capabilities and focus on their respective goals. The timeframe for that partnership has now concluded, and we extend our best wishes to the HMR team for continued success.

While our direct collaboration has ended, we will continue to support HMR where possible, reflecting our shared commitment to delivering outstanding solutions in the mining industry.  We wish Alan Sharpe (Manager – Labour Services) along with the rest of the team all the best in the future in adding value to the Australian market.

Strategic Collaborations

Throughout the year, we continued to forge new partnerships and expand existing ones:

• Corica Mining Services: Bringing our expat workforce, equipment & maintenance options, consumable supply & service global mining expertise to underground client operations, with plans for rapid expansion into additional regions. Together, we aim to enhance capabilities and outcomes, from production to workplace culture, solidifying our commitment to delivering world-class mining solutions.
• Wells Ventilation: Supporting mining operations with state-of-the-art vent bag products, with expanded distribution into New Zealand and global markets.
• PumpEng Pty Ltd: Elevating product standards by equipping underground operations with top-notch dewatering solutions and unmatched mining expertise.
• Split Set Mining Systems: Expanding our ability to provide comprehensive support for underground mining operations, ensuring ground stability and operational safety.
• Gulf Western Oil: Renowned for using the highest-quality base oils and the most technologically advanced API-approved additive systems, Gulf Western secures some of the highest OEM approvals in today’s market.
• Wolf Workwear: Delivering premium-quality safety workwear designed by miners, for miners, meeting the highest standards of safety and performance.

These collaborations reflect our unwavering commitment to providing top-tier services and elevating global mining standards.

Global Expansion:

In 2024, we made significant strides in expanding our international presence into New Zealand, Europe, and Africa. Our team had the privilege of attending the Africa Down Under Conference, where we connected with industry leaders and explored exciting opportunities for future growth.

New Services and Growth

This year saw the launch of our enhanced consumable capabilities, equipment hire solutions, and expanded maintenance services with our new partners. Together, we look forward to utilising their products and expanding the distribution of these solutions in the global mining market.

Community Impact

Supporting local communities and initiatives remains a cornerstone of our values. This year, we proudly:

• Sponsored regional sports teams, including the Cobar Roosters Rugby League Club.
• Contributed to charities such as Orana Support , Sweet Louise, Make A Wish Foundation, Starship Hospital and the Aerocool Rescue Helicopter
• Recognised our exceptional team members through the Employee of the Month program, which also supports causes chosen by our employees.
